Late February early March is the ideal time to prune roses.

Knock OutŪ Roses can be pruned 12-18 inches from the ground into a mound.

Floribunda Roses are bushier in shape and growth habits. These you can simply prune bushes about 15-18 inches from ground. Thin as needed for good air circulation and light exposure.

Climbers Prune out old canes that are large and woody and keep younger, lighter green canes. Train and attach to trellis or fence accordingly.

Tree Roses Prune any suckers coming from base of trunk or root zone. Shape canopy into ball 12-18 inches from the top graft.
